Very! Because we're by your side from day one. After signing up, your Onboarding Specialist will reach out to help you create your location(s), service menu, staff accounts, and more. After that, our on-demand training site, Boulevard Academy, will have you and your team ready to go live before popping some champagne.

We strive to help every new customer get up and running within 30 days of signing their contract, including setup, data migration, and training. Having helped thousands of customers make the switch, we hit that goal 95% of the time. Either way, we'll work with you to understand your needs and build an onboarding plan that sticks the landing.

We know you've worked hard for your business data, and at Boulevard, we believe you should have access to it fully. That said, depending on your previous solution, only certain data types may be available from them. Most solutions enable the export of client lists, inventory lists, and other various data types. Our dedicated onboarding team is well-versed in handling data migrations and can easily answer questions about what we can and cannot bring from every alternative solution. Connect with them about your specific needs, and they'll get you confident about your data transfer!

You probably already have what you need, specifically a modern computer or laptop, an iPad, and a broadband internet connection. You’ll just have to purchase the Boulevard Duo point-of-sale that integrates with the Boulevard Duo App for iPad to start processing payments. Optionally, you may want to use the Boulevard Professional iOS app, a cash drawer, a barcode scanner, and a receipt printer.

Boulevard's Dispute Resolution Center takes the guesswork out of disputes. You'll get notified immediately when a dispute occurs, and you can appeal the chargeback, submit evidence, and find the status and decision on the case—right within your dashboard. Risk management is also baked into our platform in places like our EMV-certified Duo and through Zip Code Verification for card-not-present transactions, so you have a stronger foundation for appealing chargebacks.

Unlike most processors, Boulevard batches all payments into one of your business days and initiates the deposit on the following day. This makes for clean accounting on your end and ensures a full day of sales matches a full day of deposits. Funds usually reach your bank account after 2 business days.

We do offer discounts based on your current payment processing volume. When you get in touch, be sure to bring a copy of your merchant processing statement or your sales report from your current platform, and we'll be happy to take a look.

In addition to volume discounts, we also offer Boulevard Offset, a program that lets you transparently and compliantly share the cost of credit card processing with your clients. WIth Offset, your clients pay a 3% fee on credit card transactions, and you pay just 1% for processing them. Check out our support article to learn more!
